Your mission
ASKO is part of the multinational company Hisense Group and develops premium kitchen & laundry appliances which are sold under the ASKO and ATAG brand.
We are a growing premium brand with a distinctive premium philosophy, and in order to facilitate our further growth in the global kitchen and laundry industry, we are looking for a Global Category Manager Kitchen Appliances.
In this role you will be responsible for the development of the product ranges within one or several product groups. As category manager and product specialist you are a key figure within the business processes. You have a keen knowledge of market and technological developments for certain product groups. As project coordinator and gatekeeper you are responsible for the realization and timely delivery of the different projects. You have a lively interest in global developments and technical aspects of kitchen appliances. Together with the complete Premium team, you work towards the best results and the best products.
You will report directly to the Head Global Product Manager Kitchen who is based in Duiven, The Netherlands.
Responsibilities
The Global Product Category Manager has a broad range of responsibilities. Within product development projects you have the role of project leader during the specification phase. During the execution phase R&D take the lead, as your role shifts to project owner. During these product development projects you lead an international and cross-functional team.
The requests from the Global Product Managers concerning the global product portfolio are translated into actual products. Also the coordination of all the related processes and documentation is part of this job.

Qualifications
You have at least a Bachelor degree and a few years of work experience in a similar position. You have a technical background or high interest in technical product detail, you are commercially driven and you have a business as well as a commercial sense.
Your English language skills are excellent both orally and in writing. Dutch knowledge is preferred.
You understand that this international position demands frequent traveling (25%). (travel restrictions aside)
